February 12th to March 6th
Cover at least 176km in one single activity, the full length of this beautiful yet brutal race through Tuscany, and you’ll earn a unique finisher’s badge for your profile. On March 5th, the world’s strongest riders will fight through hours of chalky-white gravel for their shot at one of the most coveted wins of spring. Go as fast or slow as you like, but hit some rough roads over a 176km ride and you’ll get a feel for what it’s like to race the Strade Bianche. And if you’re lucky enough to be in the Chianti region on the 6th, make sure to take part in the Strade Bianche Gran Fondo, the official amateurs’ race.

Athletes that ride over 176 km during the Challenge will earn a badge in their Trophy Case.
You have to ride 176 kilometers in a single ride, and the elapsed time of the ride must be under 24 hours.
To ensure you meet the Challenge goal, we recommend you ride a small amount over 176 kilometers during your activity (about 3 km / 2 mi). This will give you a buffer in the event your activity distance is shortened after upload to Strava due to the cleanup of GPS irregularities. The Challenge period starts and ends based on each riders local time zone.
Manual entries or trainer rides will not count towards your Challenge effort.
All activities logged during the Challenge period must be uploaded to Strava no later than three days after the Challenge ends.
