Pick your trail. Smash our segment. Earn the badge.
Challenge Ended: September 30, 2023
Trail running is a numbers game. To help you run yours, The North Face has set up a series of segments on popular trails at famous races and cities around the world. Whether you run one of the segments to boost your pace on a fast run or to cruise through on a recovery run, all you need to do is complete it to earn a badge for your Trophy Case. The segment challenges will appear for one month only, so get out there soon and run the numbers with The North Face.
The hottest segment in Paris this month? There's no debate. Complete the Run The Numbers segment sponsored by The North Face to see how your times stack up.
Athletes who complete a Run The Numbers segment will receive a digital badge in their Trophy Case.
Additional Info
The Challenge starts and ends based on each participant's local time zone.
Manual entries, virtual runs, treadmill runs will not count towards the challenge goal. Activities must be marked "Everyone."
All activities logged during the Challenge period must be uploaded to Strava no later than three days after the Challenge ends.
You must cross through the segment start, continue on its path exactly as it was created, and cross over the segment finish in order to match.
Once you've started the segment, you may not deviate from the segment's path whatsoever. In other words, stay on the segment.
You must complete the segment in the direction it was created. You can not complete it in the opposite direction.
If the segment is a loop, you must start and end the loop at the segment's designated start/end points. You may not start and end the loop on another part of the loop, even if you completed the entire loop.
Avoid resting right before or right after the segment, because this resting time may get included in your segment time and we will not adjust your match to remove this time. More info here.
Make sure your device indicates that you have a strong GPS signal prior to recording. If your device does not have a strong signal, the GPS data may be offtrack from the segment and this may cause you to not match that segment.
We expect all athletes to honor the Strava Community Standards, which includes abiding by all health advisements and restrictions in your area prior to undertaking any physical activity.
