Run the East River Drive Climb segment to receive goodies from Strava
Challenge Ended: December 5, 2019
Strava is inviting everyone attending The Running Event to visit us our booth at the Expo.
We are encouraging everyone to go for a run, have fun, complete the segment, and visit Strava at the event! We will have goodies for all those who stop by our booth (#1247) including swag, discounts on Strava Summit, and more!
What's Strava Summit, you ask? If you're active, there's something you're striving for - a feeling, a goal, a place, a state of mind, a state of "no more getting dropped on that group ride." Whatever it is, Summit can get you there. Customize your experience by choosing the features you need to achieve.
Each challenge completer will receive a digital badge in their trophy case. All participants attending The Running Event can show their badge at the Strava Booth for a discount on Strava Summit.

Additional Info
This is a one-day Challenge. The Challenge starts and ends based on each participant's local time zone.
Manual entries, virtual runs, treadmill runs will not count towards the challenge goal. Activities must be marked "Everyone."
All activities logged during the Challenge period must be uploaded to Strava no later than three days after the Challenge ends.
You must cross through the segment start, continue on its path exactly as it was created, and cross over the segment finish in order to match.
Once you've started the segment, you may not deviate from the segment's path whatsoever. In other words, stay on the segment.
You must complete the segment in the direction it was created. You can not complete it in the opposite direction.
If the segment is a loop, you must start and end the loop at the segment's designated start/end points. You may not start and end the loop on another part of the loop, even if you completed the entire loop.
Avoid resting right before or right after the segment, because this resting time may get included in your segment time and we will not adjust your match to remove this time. More info here.
Make sure your device indicates that you have a strong GPS signal prior to recording. If your device does not have a strong signal, the GPS data may be offtrack from the segment and this may cause you to not match that segment.
