North Carolina Roadrunners Private Club

The North Carolina Roadrunners Club (or simply NCRC) came to life in November 1979 with a meeting of some local runners at Hackney’s, a Raleigh-based sporting goods store. We celebrate our rich tradition while updating our outreach for the 21st century. We are a nonprofit group (one of only 23 member clubs of the Road Runners Club of America in North Carolina) that draws members mostly from the Triangle area but also from other parts of Eastern North Carolina.
