Oslo Cycling Week is happening Sept 1. - 7. 2025, but we're kicking it off with a long beginner road ride.

There’s always people wondering if things will get cancelled if there’s rain. The answer is “no”, so dress according to weather. Remember that it’s still mild, so don’t overdress either. A light rain jacket does wonders. A small plastic bag with a seckbd pair of socks and gloves are also a welcome treat to change into midway.
Worst case, you hop on the train in Kråkstad, we won’t tell anyone 😜

The pace will be easy, we project around a 24-25 km/h average. 
While this ride is aimed at beginners, more experienced riders are more than welcome to join, for an easy one.

Meetup is at Birk Sport Sagene. Birk Sport will provide some freebie stuff. We will end the ride at Birk Sport, and if there’s a wish for post ride coffee, we’ll find a place ✌🏻

We will ride a 100k route, and have a proper coffee stop at Stasjonskafeen Kråkstad at around 65k, and at least one water stop before that.

Helmet is mandatory. 
E-bikes are welcome, but we're expecting most to be on road bikes. 
Lights on the bike is never wrong.

We expect you to behave nicely, obey all traffic regulations, and follow instructions given by the road captain(s).

While this is a no-drop ride there is no way to guarantee against every type of situation. So, you'll need to be self sufficient: basic tools to fix your bike, a multi tool, tire levers, a spare tube and a pump will get you a long way. Money to get you home if everything fails is highly encouraged.
Also, bring your phone for emergencies, navigation and those all-important photos for social media :)

Most importantly, bring your happy self and tell your friends.
