MARATHON RIDE UPDATE:

Well, there’s good news and bad news.

The good news: we will still be hosting a kick-off event at the Foundry in Cambridge from 5:00–6:00 tonight. It’ll be relaxed with drinks, pizza, and small swag from us + Assos. We hope you can still stop by to hang with all the ride leads, meet the team, and make some new friends for the start of the season. From there, we’ll head to State Park in Cambridge and keep the evening going.

We’ll also have trainer and Zwift setups rolling — so if you’re itching to ride, you can still clip in, spin it out, and get after it with the crew indoors.

The bad news: the weather in Boston never gets easier to deal with. With rain ending around the time of the ride starting, we have to cancel the ride component of this kick-off event. We will never put anyone in an unsafe situation, and wet roads with large groups of cyclists don’t align with the safety standards we’re committed to.

It’s extremely disappointing to put months of work and planning into something and have variables out of your control disrupt it. That said, we hope to still see you tonight to focus on the bright side — it’s bike season, and the people are what make this group special.

We’ll regroup with more information on the season schedule tonight at the Foundry and via social next week.

See you soon 🤝
