Started this thing with goal of mileage and a little climbing. Who really gives a shit about the number of miles? Anybody can roll around on a bike for a while, it's boring. Old people ride long miles and take pride in it, suburbanites ride long miles and are wowed by themselves. These aren't the riders we want to be lumped in with.
Now elevation? Yes, lets go up stuff. The hills are where we find out if we really are capable of anything impressive. Lets climb shit. 100K feet? nah eff that. 150? Seems fairly reasonable.
