Cycle4Cambodia - Breaking the cycle of Human Trafficking
In October 2013 a team of 22 Australian women are cycling across Cambodia to raise awareness on Human Trafficking and fundraise to support various organisations that work with individuals and communities affected by, or at risk of human trafficking. Some 600,000 to 800,000 people are trafficked across international borders each year. Cambodia is sadly known to many as the sex trafficking capital of the world.
We are making every effort to raise awareness and break the cycle of human trafficking. Your generous donation will go towards supporting our carefully selected organisations working with local Cambodian people to address and break the cycle of risk factors associated with trafficking. The supported organisations include: A rescue home, education & training programs, micro enterprise initiatives, medical emergencies and local community initiatives.
