2020 Kingdom UAE Ride

People will be added throughout the next three months so this message will be pined on the top to be referred to as needed.

This year we’re tweaking it. We will join our own UAE ride with the annual Rapha 500 challenge (where riders are challenged to ride 500km between Christmas Eve and New Year’s). To make it “worse”, we will do it in one day.

Start and finish at the Al Hudayriat Cycle Track in Abu Dhabi for a ride through Abu Dhabi’s main cycling destinations.

GROUPS
- Group 1 (5:10AM start) - stops every 70km. Doesn't leave anyone behind.
Expected average speed of 27-31km/h.
- Group 2 (5:05AM start) - stops only 3 times throughout the 500km (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Expected average speed of 28-32km/h.
- Group 3 (5AM start) - stops every 100km.
Expected average speed of 32-36km/h.

RULES
A helmet is mandatory;
Front and rear lights are mandatory.

PRICE
Each group will have two support cars. If we can't find enough volunteers for all of the cars, the riders in the group will split the price of their respective support cars.
There is no payment to the organization whatsover as this is "just" a group ride and everyone in the organization are volunteers.

FINISHERS
All finishers will receive a unique event t-shirt provided by our awesome sponsors as well as a personal set of photographs from the event.
