How about setting yourself a challenge of running/jogging/walking 1000 miles in a year? That's 52 weeks, and 19.25 miles or 31km a week? That's only 4.5km or 2.8 miles a day. Doesn't sound too bad does it?
As well as this "Club", i've joined a challenge via iLoveToRun.org which links with Strava.
No need to run at set days / times or with each other (unless you want to), just do it when you can and we'll track it all through Strava.
No need for PB's or being faster than everyone else, just do the miles and reap the health benefits.
