CHASING THE PROS @ LOMBARDIA 2021

Ci siamo, dopo 2 anni finalmente possiamo goderci un altro evento insieme in occasione de Il Giro di Lombardia 2021 che quest'anno partirà da Como e vedrà i nostri amati eroi scendere il mitico Ghisallo (purtroppo) e li vedremo poi impegnati in altri 4500 metri di dislivello con salite inedite per questa gara e arrivo a Bergamo.
Per questa volta ci accontentiamo di appostarci su un tornante in discesa dal Ghisallo, circa dopo 35 km dalla partenza da Sartoria Ciclistica.
Il percorso di circa 95 km parte da Sartoria Ciclistica ore 8:45 (Sartoria apre alle 8:30, vi aspettiamo per il caffè!).
Il passo sarà social e il percorso ci vedrà pedalare sul lato destro del ramo comasco fino a Bellagio per poi iniziare la salita fino alla fine del primo terzo di salita (circa al bivio tra il Ghisallo e Super Ghisallo per chi conosce il percorso), o fino a dove ci sarà consesso prima della chiusura delle strade.
Una volta passata la carovana si prosegue in vetta per un saluto a Coppi e alla chiesa della Madonna del Ghisallo. Si scende fino ad Asso per continuare fino a Oliveto Lario e rientrare passando ancora da Bellagio. Rientro previsto attorno le 13:00.
La ride non è assistita quindi ogni partecipante dovrà essere autosufficiente.
La ride è aperta al traffico e l'organizzazione scarica ogni responsabilità per eventuali danni a cose o persona da parte del partecipante.

N.B: per il weekend del Giro di Lombardia (9 e 10 Ottobre) Sartoria Ciclistica aprirà alle 8:30 e chiederà alle 19 presso la nuova location al primo piano di Mitchumm Store.

ENGLISH:
Here we are, after 2 years we can finally enjoy another event together on the occasion of Il Giro di Lombardia 2021 which this year will start from Como and will see our beloved heroes descend the mythical Ghisallo (unfortunately) and we will then see them engaged in another 4500 meters in altitude with unprecedented climbs for this race and arrival in Bergamo.
For this time we are content to take a stand on a downhill bend from Ghisallo, about 35 km after the departure from Sartoria Ciclistica.
The route of about 95 km starts from Sartoria Ciclistica at 8:45 am (Sartoria opens at 8:30, we are waiting for you for coffee!).
The pass will be social and the route will see us pedaling on the right side of the Como branch up to Bellagio and then starting the climb until the end of the first third of the climb (about the crossroads between Ghisallo and Super Ghisallo for those who know the route), or up to where there will be a meeting before the roads close.
Once past the caravan, continue to the top to greet Coppi and the church of the Madonna del Ghisallo. Go down to Asso to continue to Oliveto Lario and return again passing through Bellagio. Expected return around 13:00.
The ride is not assisted so each participant must be self-sufficient.
The ride is open to traffic and the organization discharges all responsibility for any damage to property or person by the participant.
