Urban Runners

The Urban Run was founded in the fall of 2012 as a preview run to Thunder Road Marathon. We liked the route so much that we made it a weekly run and many runners have enjoyed it with us.

Since those early days, we have a formed a friendly family of runners who are always scheming to convince each other to either run more or sign-up for events that most would call stupid. Some say we are cRaZy others say we are a cult. Either way, we like to put down miles as a group and enjoy showing new runners our city via the Urban Run.
