Women in the Woods - Lake Mohegan Preview

Are you curious about trail running but nervous to try it on your own? Want to preview the Lake Mohegan women's-only trail race event?

Join us for a special "Introduction to Trail Running" event at Lake Mohegan on Sunday, April 2nd in Fairfield!

This will also serve as the Course Preview for the inaugural Lake Mohegan Trail Race, a women's only trail race event in Fairfield, CT, scheduled for Saturday, April 22, 2023.

You'll get the scoop on how to run the trails in this area safely and confidently (Hint: We walk a lot of the hills!), all while previewing the landscape of the trail race. Everyone who attends will receive a 25% discount coupon good toward your race registration.

This is an all-level run but beginner-focused; no runner will be left behind. Trail shoes are suggested but not required - it may be muddy. No trail shoes? We got you! Our friends from Altra will be on hand with demos of their new trail shoe models for you to try on for your run.

While this is women-focused, all are welcome. We kindly ask that you leave your dogs at home as we want to be able to focus on our footing and our surroundings.
