10:00 AM Saturday
Meet Up Spot Parking lot near the Conoco on Morrison Rd west of Bear Creek Reservoir
Tempo / Mostly Flat

If you are new to racing, and even if you're not, this is a can't miss clinic. We are going to again bring back Jon Heidemann, an Elite-Level 1 Certified Cycling Coach with USA Cycling, to lead the clinic along with our experienced Cat 3 racers.

We will meet at the parking lot near the Conoco on Morrison Rd west of Bear Creek Reservoir and ride to a shelter in the park for some "classroom" instruction on the concepts behind riding comfortably, relaxed and fast while in a group. This includes riding in tight groups typical in races, pacelines, and more advance techniques like riding in an echelon. After the basic concepts are introduced we'll ride down around the park to practice these concepts. Groups will be formed around experience and ability level, and will include an experienced rider for hands on instruction, If you have attended the classroom section before and just want to attend the outdoor segment, stay tuned for when are where to meet.

***For those beginner Cat 5s Men/Cat 4 Women, if you attend this clinic AND participate in a BRAC BRP race (one of the CSP Table Mountain Crits or others TBA), you will can receive 2 upgrade points.***

This is open to all pedal race team members as well as anyone else interested in racing, or those that might be an unattached Cat 5 Man/Cat 4 Woman. So, if you know of someone that might be interested let them know and bring them along!
