VLC DIVIDE 2021

La segunda VLC DIVIDE es una aventura de bikepacking que atraviesa las tres provincias de la Comunidad Valenciana. ¡Todxs son bienvenidxs! La ruta es dura, con muchos altibajos, separada en cuatro etapas diarias. La ruta es principalmente por carreteras secundarias, pero hay aprox. 30km de caminos de grava. Pasaremos por muchos parques naturales de Alicante, Valencia y Castellón, así como por sus hermosos pueblos. Tendrá lugar durante el ultimo finde de agosto, así que prepárate para el caloret.

Los participantes pueden ir al ritmo que deseen, ya que es un "ride", no una carrera. No hay cuota de inscripción y no hay premios asignados. El objetivo es alcanzar tus propios retos.

Todos los participantes serán autosuficientes y responsables de su propio bienestar. Por favor, seguid todas las normas y regulaciones del camping al aire libre y no dejéis ningún rastro en el medio ambiente.

Tanto el punto de partida frente a la estación de Xilxes como el de llegada a Gandía son fácilmente accesibles con Renfe Cercanías desde la estación de Valencia Nord. Se pueden llevar bicicletas en estos trenes sin coste. La ubicación de la meta está por confirmarse, ¡pero seguro que habrá cerveza!

Debido a la actual situación de pandemia, es fundamental que los participantes tomen todas las medidas necesarias.

The second VLC DIVIDE is a bikepacking adventure crossing the three provinces of the Valencian community. All are welcome! The route is tough with lots of ups and downs, separated into four daily stages. The route is principally on secondary roads but there is approx. 30km of gravel roads. We pass through many natural parks of Alicante, Valencia and Castellon as well as the beautiful villages. It will take place on the last weekend of August, so be prepared for the heat.

Participants are welcome to ride at any pace they wish, it's a ride not a race. There is no entry fee and the only prizes are personal.

All participants will be self-sufficient and responsible for their own well-being. Please follow all rules and regulations on wild camping and leave no trace on the environment.
Both the starting point in front of Xilxes station, and the finishing point in Gandía are easily accessible by Renfe Cercanias to Valencia Nord station. You are able to take bikes on these trains without charge. The finishing point is to be confirmed, but there will be beer for sure!
