We meet for this ride at Cutty Sark Gardens, and start by walking through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel to the north bank of the Thames. We then cycle up the Regent's Canal to the QE Park. We then follow some of the Dunwich Dynamo route, which takes us to Epping Forest. There is a cycle path in the heart of the forest which takes us up to Copped Hall (https://www.coppedhalltrust.org.uk/), which is holding its annual Apple Day (http://www.coppedhalltrust.org.uk/index.php?option=com_eventlist&view=details&id=213:open-day&Itemid=59). We stay there for a couple of hours (entry to the House and Gardens costs £8) to walk round the stalls, visit the house and extensive gardens and have lunch. We then return by cycling across to the Warlies, Upshire and Waltham Abbey before following the Lee Valley towpath back to Cutty Sark Gardens, where the ride finishes.
