A trip to the seaside! An iconic ride, the London to Brighton is a must-do ride which is harder than the distance may suggest due to the never-ending nature of the climbs, culminating in Ditchling Beacon before a mainly downhill run into the seafront. For those returning, the fun continues over Devil's Dyke and back via Box Hill.
This ride will be run at an average moving speed of between 21-23 kph, we will endeavour to ride as a group as much as possible but please ensure that you are self sufficient in terms of navigation, bike maintenance and food/drink/etc in case you are unable to maintain the required pace. If there are enough riders the group may be split, either randomly or by expected pace, in order to maximise our safety on the road. There will be a train return option from Brighton @ around 100km.
