Oxford Hash House Harriers are a sociable running club and just one of the many hundreds of Hash chapters running around the world. We run every Wednesday evening at 7 pm on a hash trail somewhere in Oxford or the neighbouring area. Our runs usually start from a pub or occasionally a car park in the countryside.
The trail is laid in flour by the "hare" before the run and has check points with false trails, and short-cuts, that allow slower runners and walkers to catch up with the faster runners. A run is typically 4 to 5 miles long and takes about an hour.
