Professor Andrew Thompson or Thommo as he is better known was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2025. Like many of us involved in this cause, Thommo is a lifelong research scientist and his diagnosis has highlighted how much more research is needed to help brain cancer sufferers. The plan is to run, walk, ride or row 2000km in 2026 to raise awareness and raise funding to allow the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to do its job even better.
