Olympia Area Rowing (OAR) is a rowing club in Olympia, Washington, USA. OAR’s mission is to promote and provide competitive and recreational rowing for adults and youth in the local community, fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, athleticism, and camaraderie. The club offers classes for beginning rowers, coached competitive programs for high school students and adults, and access to OAR boats and other rowing equipment. We row year-round on Budd Inlet on the southern end of Puget Sound. The club has several organized adult programs with scheduled practice times, and an active youth program.
