Let's move Redding from a Bronze-level cycling community to a Diamond-level cycling destination. Redding has the increasing potential to be an attractive place to visit, live and recreate by bicycle with the opportunity to choose to live a car-lite lifestyle. Through events, advocacy, education, enforcement & infrastructure Redding could be the next Boulder, Bend, or Davis. The bicycle is a practical and cost-effective solution to many community challenges, including health, poverty, transportation access, while boosting tourism and economic revenues.
