The Velo Club Horgen was founded in 1894 and is one of the oldest clubs in Horgen. The club has been growing steadily for several years and has over 250 members in 2025. In winter, the club members can mainly be found on their bikes on the Zimmerberg. In summer, the active members go on longer rides in the region, mainly on racing bikes, and the kids train on their mountain bikes around the club hut. Club members often spend several days on the road in their own club bus in Switzerland or neighboring countries. The club bus can be hired by clubs from the region at favorable conditions.
