Albert Park Loop
The Albert Park Lake running track is a 4.7km track not far from the heart of Melbourne that loops this famous lake following the same course as the Formula One racing track. The track is well maintained and the course is almost perfectly flat from start to finish. Beautiful views across the lake make this a very enjoyable run but be sure to watch out for swans who frequently wander across the track!

What Others Are Saying
Albert Park Lake is one of my favourite tracks to run - just so long as it's not a windy day as the course is quite exposed. When the conditions are right, it's very hard to resist keeping on going for an extra lap... or two!"
Albert Park Lake is a great place to roll the legs over. A gravelly 4.8km surface around the lakes perimeter makes for a very easy flat run. Along the way you’ll likely be distracted by all manner of bird life and water sports that frequent the lake. A huge variety of café’s and restaurants can be found on Fitzroy Street, St Kilda (near the southern end of the lake) and Clarendon St, South Melbourne (near the northern end).
