Oslo Running Guide

Norway

"Oslo is a small city, encircled by a lot of nature. I really like that, because even if you start running downtown you can easily end up running in the forest within the hour. And the forests around the city are perfect for running. There are miles and miles with small, lighted gravel roads or paths. And the terrain goes up and down, which gives you an extra challenge. We also have a lot of parks, but most of them are quite small. The rivers running through the city have walkways along them, and these are full of people running." - Axel Pettersen 1757912

"I think that Oslo's greatest advantage compared to other cities(when it comes to running, of course) is its size. Nearly no matter where you live, there are always parks or woods in an affordable distance." - Sverre Akersveen
