City Park’s large green expanse close to downtown Denver attracts runners from far and wide. Most people come here for the postcard-worthy scenery of the Denver skyline over a backdrop of the Front Range Mountains. Although it’s not as crowded as Washington Park, you’ll never be lonely here. The winding paths that crisscross the park allow you to create runs of varying distances, including a peaceful loop around the lake.
