11 miles, Marlow, Temple, Hurley and a hill

Cycling Route

Details
10.84 mi
340 ft
Starting at the Court Garden Leisure Centre. This route takes the main road over the Marlow Bridge to Bisham Abbey. It then turns towards Temple along a quiet road and eventually tarmac tracks as far as Hurley. At Hurley it takes the tow path. passing through Hurley & Temple Locks before diverting through the Harleyford Estate and onto the main Henley Road and back to the start. Half of this route is on roads.

Places for coffee etc: plenty in Marlow, a couple of pubs in Hurley, tea shop at one of the locks (only in summer)

Note: plenty of cyclists along this stretch of the tow path and room for everyone, however there is a kissing gate along the tow path which is awkward to get a bike through - when it was repaired a couple of years ago it was made too short and you now have to prop your bike up to get it through.
