This is a good ride for someone new to the area. It can be extended to include both lakes and does not need to include the busy section of 220. Simple take a right on Hazen road and a left on Dam Road. There is one steep climb known locally as the "dam hill" but it is rather smooth riding including rollers otherwise. One of the most beautiful rides in the area.
