Kirkstall & back or shorter route.
Approx 12 miles to Kirkstall & back.
Out of the carpark, turn left and left onto the canal towards Rodley. run on the canal for just over 5 miles and at Kirkstall ( just past the abbey) come off the canal to join the B6157 Leeds & Bradford Rd. Go over he bridge of the river Aire to Abbey rd (A65) at the bottom. Turn left onto Abbey rd all the way up, to Horsfort rou about. Take the left here on the ring rd & continue passing over the canal, to the large roundabout nr Rodley. Take a right here onto Rodley Lane and go up the hill into Calverley. At the church on the right in Calverley, take a right into the track into the trees. At the first main wide path on the right, turn down here & go downhill through the gates at the bottom. Turn right here, onto Parkin Lane and turn right at the bottom back to the carpark.
