Get the family together, for one lap running or walking around the picturesque Regatta Centre competition lake. The Regatta Centre 5k starts and finishes under the iconic grandstand and follows the pedestrian pathway on a loop of the lake, taking in scenic views of Penrith Lakes, the Lower Blue Mountains and surrounding parklands.
This fast, flat course is ideal for that 5km PB and is suitable for prams and wheelchairs.
Getting There
The Regatta Centre 5km starts and finishes at the competition lake grandstand. Enter the venue at Gate A on Old Castlereagh Road and park your car in P1, directly behind the Function Centre. The 5km pathway to begin your run is lakeside of the grandstand.
Parking is free all day at the venue, which is open from 6.30am – 5.00pm, 7 days a week.
