When starting from our usual Los Gatos meet-up location, there are three potential directions for us to pursue. Southeast towards Morgan Hill (think IBM, Uvas…), south towards Santa Cruz (venerable playground!), or north towards Woodside. The last two weeks were southeast and south, so this week, we go north! There are not as many choices as there are when we go towards Santa Cruz, but this route is one we have not done this year. Plus, for the mountain goats amongst us, this one is favorite as the climb out of Portola State Park is steep!

Since we are headed north, we will of course pick-up our northern members at the Peet's on Homestead at 9am. Then we head to Page Mill.
