This event is well marked and we will use large A-frame signs so no one will get lost. You are encouraged to download this file to your computer. The course is in amazing condition all the way around as of this ride (November 5, 2022). The first section of 6 miles had maintenance done about a month ago and is now back to is normal very slightly rocky condition. At about mile 8 you will have to carry your bike over 2 gates before you proceed north and approach the 4 spillway crossings which are about 24 inches deep and feel amazing. As you approach them you MUST get off your bike, where you will run down the small hill, then lift up your bike on your shoulder and then run up the hill on the other side to get back on. It is super cool. On the final and 4th spill way there is a down hill so please be careful as the gravel is loose. The rest of the course is smooth gravel all the way to the finish. Gate: Start & Finish Gates will be open. The 2 other gates near mile 8ish are closed. Neutral Support: The 60 mile (2 laps) riders can drop a personal bottle near the registration area. There will be a ESPtiming tent with orange coolers of water and nutrition, etc. There is a neutral support at miles: 15, 25, 30, 45 and 55. Photography: Spillway 4 and Start/Finish Staff: Spillway 1
