Interesting ride that hugs Fall Creek from McCordsville to Alliance via Pendleton and Fortville. Passes by Falls Park at mile 14.5 and again at 22.5 making the ideal pitstop (restrooms) and also a chill spot for those on the ride that want a little rest while the others do the 8 mile Alliance loop. Roads are mostly narrow country roads (no shoulder) that can be rough at times, but they are often shaded and usually have hardly any traffic except the roads in "downtown" Pendleton and Fortville. Gentle rolling hills throughout the bulk of the middle section (along Fall Creek) with only two "small chainring" climbs (Atlantic Road and Lick Creek). To extend or shorten ride towards the end just pick a different road to turn south off 1000N (most all of them go through to 700N).
