A steep apron that funnels into a narrow mandatory cliff move before opening up in the runout.

Little Hourglass is a local's favorite. It is a steep committed run with a mandatory 5-15 foot air in the middle choke. It tends to slough out, so the top apron can be deceptively thin. Carefully maneuver down to the choke, stick your air, then shut your speed down. Little Hourglass can be accessed from the top of the Sock it to Me Ridge. It is bordered by Cess Pool to the left and Sock it to Me proper on the right. Exit via a cat road at the bottom that takes you to Black Eagle and the East River Lift. Written by Ed Dujardin
