Panorama Uphill Route
Backcountry Skiing Route
Details
1.68 mi
1,018 ft
A scenic uphill with lots of descents, open for use during and after operating hours at Monarch.
This is one of the designated uphill routes at Monarch, available for skinning all day with an uphill pass. It takes a scenic meander up to the Continental Divide and the top of the resort, opening a lot of terrain for the descent. From the very top, you’ll have your pick of stellar blue and black runs around the Panorama chairlift, but you could drop sooner and ski anything in the Pioneer zone instead. During off-hours you might take a more direct approach to the run you want to ski, but this Pano is a go-to during operating hours, when uphill is confined to the designated routes. Be sure to review Monarch’s [Uphill Travel]( policies and get the pass so you can enjoy all the resort touring this mountain has to offer. Written by Jesse Weber
