Day 7 of the exhilarating MTB Transalp from Lucerne to Aosta
Begin with a nice winding start to one of the Valais area’s most popular ski resort towns: La Tsoumaz. If you want to save yourself 850m of steep uphill climbing, then jump on the cable car to Savoleyres for CHF 12. Follow a fantastic mountain trail to La Chaux, passing the town on Ruinettes along the way. The last stretch of descent is on asphalt all the way down to 900m.
