Cliff area just past the ski area boundary on Milly Bowl

Camera land is an iconic cliff run just outside the ski area boundary of Milly Bowl. Many ski and snowboard films of the late 1990's and early 2000's were filmed here. There are few ways down that don't involve dropping at least one cliff, so only head here if you're ready to catch some air. Although easily accessed from the resort, this area is out of bounds and is not patrolled by Brighton. There is no avalanche control work done here so carry a beacon, probe shovel, know how to use them, and bring a partner you trust. After getting off the Milly chair, head left towards Milly Bowl. Stay high on the traverse across the the entire bowl until you see the boundary line, and a small gate at the top of that line. Head through the gate and keep your speed up. At any point in the next 50 - 150 feet, drop into the slope on your left. The slope is pretty mellow until you reach the first cliff bands (after going down 100 feet), where you will encounter cliffs that are anywhere from 10 - 50 feet high. There are a few places where you can get through without dropping any cliffs, but it can be hard to find your way if you've never been through the area before. To navigate your way through, you may need to traverse to your right or left as you approach the cliff bands. After the cliffs, you will come through a tightly wooded forest with a mellow but fun pitch. Ride another several hundred feet through these trees until you reach the Milly return Cat Track. From here you can either cut over to Crest or take the Cat track back to Milly to do it again! Written by FATMAP Official
