A steep snow field with often very deep powder
Following the hairpins of the brutal Kanonenrohr black piste, this run is an opportunity for some great consistent steep off piste turns. Leaving the piste anywhere along the track after the last hairpin offers a steep and often untracked freeride option that is best when there is a lot of snow. You may have to negotiate some bushes to access the best part of the run which is a consistent, reasonably steep pitch for approximately 300 metres. It then flattens out before you rejoin the Palace Run having followed the line of the covered up Agertenbach stream to return to the piste close to the Maulerhubel and Allmiboden lifts. You can alternatively join the path of the Inferno and then drop down towards the offers an excellent opportunity for those wanting to try some steeper off piste without having to trek for ages to get to it.
