Very exposed ledges to a large air
Spud's Angry Pocket is a rarely skied line on North side of the Angry Chair buttress, back towards Saber Slice. It is super exposed and a fall in the upper part will have horrible consequences. You will definitely have bragging rights for the rest of the season if you pull this one off. Ski just a little skier's left as you head down towards the Saber Slice. You will want to go to the end of the prowl, where it totally cliffs out, look back to the right, and you will see a couple of very exposed moves that lead to a hanging pad just above the Saber Slice. Make your way onto the ledges, being very careful, and slide down onto the pad. The take off is right beneath you and is nearly perfect. Take care to launch just a little left, or you will hit the Saber Slice rock wall. This is usually at least a 30ft air, but the landing should be soft, especially if no one has skied the Slice yet.
