A high-risk and unfriendly face
This tempting powder face looks like the best run on the mtn, but is quite deceiving. The face receives much sun and slides frequently, leaving a thin crust hiding a shallow rock surface just beneath. Do this on a low avy threat pow day when the conditions are just right. Or you can just ski the Brewbomb on the left shoulder which is safer and more fun. Just don’t ski the right side and if you do by accident, ski left! Don’t go right into the small gulch, bad news bears for this author a while back. Written by FATMAP Official
