Extremely fun and technical area with small to medium cliffs near the bottom of Chair 4
Down near the bottom of Fawn Ridge and just above the loading station of Chair 4 on the skier's right, you will find a north facing area full of medium to large cliffs. You can also get here by traversing out from Emigrant Lake and following the traverse track leading back to Chair 4 of the resort. This area is extremely technical and a fall may lead over cliffs to a flat landing. There are two rock shelves. The main entrance usually has a natural slide in area to a mandatory left air turn over an ice fall. An alternate entrance is on skier's right that funnels you down a slot with a big tree on your left. With decent snow, you can air from the tree on the left or just exit to the right from the main slot. On big years, you can air the cliffs to the right. The snow in this area is extremely protected and is one of the last places to find cold snow. Written by FATMAP Official
