A good run for dry powder in the Zurs front country.
From top of Muggengrat chairlift head back under the chair staying high traversing towards the avalanche barriers. It is possible on a snowboard but difficult to maintain the height. Once around the shoulder the slope will come into view. Stay towards the right and drop in where suits. This first section which is often in the shade can hold some magnificent dry powder and is the main reason for accessing this face from Muggengrat. From here either head towards the chairlift and run 14 on a nice open slope. Or alternatively turn right and head towards the road keeping right of the avalanche barriers and the small cliff band at the bottom. The lower section can get tracked quickly as more accessible, however, if fresh this can be an amazing run from top to bottom. Written by FATMAP Official
