Col Ratti
Backcountry Skiing Route
Details
1.91 mi
100 ft
Long, easy hike with an easy, open descent - accessible by car or lift.
You can either drive (via Essert Romand and Cote D'Arbroz) or take the lifts up Mont Chery (TC Mont Chery, TS de la Pointe) and ride the Marmottes, Mouflon or Chevreuil pistes down to reach L'Encrenaz and access this gentle line down from Col Ratti. Once at Encrenaz, follow the path SW away from the carpark and then as you reach the last few chalets bear right and continue up the gentle ridge all the way to Col Ratti. The descent is easy with no significant hazards except the dropoff to skiers left on descent - obvious in good vis. This line faces south so best to hit it early. Written by FATMAP Official
