A Verbier Mega-Classic that rewards those prepared to do a little boot packing
The snow in this North facing bowl tends to stay cold and light for a while - but only if you get there before everyone else does. From the Col de Gentianes, traverse high, skiers left to the N towards the 'Stairway to Heaven' col. Boot pack up the short couloir for around 100m. From the col ski left and then join the fall line. Just before the small like, head left to reach the next pitch of skiing which joins you up with the itinerary from Mont-Gele to Tortin which you follow down to Tortin. Written by FATMAP Official
