Col de Croix junction line
Backcountry Skiing Route

A difficult line with hard entrance and gets more gentle in the lowest part.
This is an easily accessed line again as from the green slope "Marmottes" following the hike of the "Pointe de Recon" line over the summit then onto the East face. This takes about 30 minutes. The entrance is really steep where good skills are required. Steep entrance and trees are the main hazards, remember to check the weather as face gets a lot of sun so make and can be slushy or frozen if it has rained or seen refreezing. Avalanche risk is pretty considerable due to the steepness of the entrance and can go all along the line. The lower part is less some steep and the line finishes on the red piste "Col de Croix" which leads back to Torgon's ski areas. Written by Kevin Blanc
