Shortcut line between slopes close to the trees including some steepness.
This is an easily accessed line from the green slope "La Basera"; turn left into the second gully more or less 75 meters after the entrance of a track into the same slope. The line is about 40 degrees. The gully is clear of hazards other than trees to the side of the line. The face is well protected from the sun, keeping the snow fresh. However a good base is important in this part of the mountain due to the the altitude (below 2000 meters). Avalanche risk is pretty low around here as the line is just below 2000 meters but one unusual hazard to be aware of on this line is the junction with the slope where collisions can happen. The line finishes on the red piste "La Canaleta" which leads back to the bottom of Arcalis ski area. Written by Kevin Blanc
