From rifugio Quintino Sella or Mezzalama or Guide di Ayas. from the refuges you will have to climb up very much to reach the peak but it will be a true alpine conquer. From Cervinia using the lifts it's much easier and it can be done in one day. This descent is a true journey into the mountains.
