A line with a bit of everything!
A perfect blend of natural and manmade obstacles, this is an exceptionally fun and well built trail. It's got a great flow to it and the expertise of the Silver Star trail building crew can be felt all the way down it.
The line is made up primarily of jumps and berms, with some brief technical sections and wooden features thrown in for good measure. Some of the berms are enormous but they're easy to ride and flow perfectly.
With the summit chair providing effortless access to the line, and the trail finishing right at the foot of the chair, it couldn't be much easier to ride.
Just to give some context, this route is generally considered trickier than Blast Off and Challenger, but slightly easier than Snake Pit. Difficulty is often quite subjective so don't take our word for it - check it out for yourself!
Once you've ridden this line you should be ready to tackle some of the bigger challenges at Silver Star, with Rock Star or World Cup being possible next steps. Alternatively, if you found this line a little bit too much, head to Challenger or Paradise and get some more mileage in before returning for a rematch!
Another excellent option (for upper intermediate/advanced riders) is to buy an XC ticket for the chairlift (which entitles you to 2 trips up the lift) and then ride this line followed by the epic that is Beowulf. This ride is a great warmup for Beowulf and is similar in technical - but not physical (!) - difficulty. Written by Charlie Boscoe
