A gentle valley with spectacular views
A fairly gentle descent with gorgeous views of the Lac du Chevril. Where the Petit Col piste turns sharply to the right towards Tignes Le Lac, continue towards the lake down a wide valley, eventually ending up on the road between Tignes Les Boisses and Tignes le Lac. You can flag down the bus, but check the timetable in advance. Facing due east, this can be a great spot to find spring snow in the morning in spring time. Written by Charlie Boscoe
