Slyly crosses the ridge from the Bochard to find fine slopes on skier's right of the Lavancher bowl
There are usually a few rocks to avoid on the ridge and just below it. Once you have dodged these the bowl opens up below you. It is worth bearing in mind it is the perfect angle for skiing due to the frequent avalanches that have swept down it. You can ski almost anywhere, watching out for odd rocks, drop-offs and old avalanche debris. Skiers R is a more W aspect, seeing more sun with softer snow in the afternoons, can be icy in the morning though. You can also access this whole slope from the Chamois piste by a long traverse back R under the rocky ridge. Written by Charlie Boscoe
