A good descent on wide open slopes, but be warned, you pay the price with the exit. From Plan de L'Aiguille turning right as you leave the station head towards the glaciers. Ski the broad gulley to the right of the lateral moraine. Keep an eye out for the hiking trail that breaks right into the forest. This zigzags through complicated terrain slowly leading you to the 4x4 track and your descent to Chamonix. The descent is completely away from the ski resort and complete uncontrolled.
